• The Last Ninja Twins

Super simple research shows that most people wish they were a twin, and secondly that they were a ninja. We didn’t dare not act on it.

  • One thumb each.

Tap the right half of the screen and the front ninja jumps.

Tap the left half and the one behind jumps.
It demands asynchronous ninja thumb precision.

  • A phone held in two hands, a thumb poised over each half of the screen.
  • A level set among cherry blossom, one ninja mid-jump.
  • A darker forest level lit by green light.
  • A pagoda on a cliff edge with a bridge and a torii gate.
  • Two worlds.
    Sixteen levels.
    Blood optional.

Explore and collect three ninja stars to collect in every level. The ninjas run with drawn swords, so a missed jump ends badly for one of them.

There was a setting to turn the blood off, to spare children.

  • Double the trouble.

  • A phone resting on a pink ledge, showing a blossom level.
  • The two ninjas facing each other, each saying “Hi!”
  • Not in the App Store.

Ninja Twinz was our own game title, kept alive with updates into 2017. It left the stores years ago. What still survives is the artwork, the teaser, and a control scheme that people, by our research, enjoyed.
